Coop Alleanza 3.0, the result of the merger of Coop Adriatica, Coop Consumatori Nordest and Coop Estense, is the largest cooperative of Italian consumers, with over 2.5 million members, 22,000 employees and 430 points of sale. The direct client was Digitail Srl, the start up with which Coop Alleanza 3.0 aims to become the leader of online grocery sales in Italy.

For Coop Alleanza 3.0, EasyCoop is an innovative multi-channel commerce project that fully reflects the values and operational guidelines of the cooperative: close attention to the quality of the items sold and to its loyal customers, who place their trust in the retailer day after day. Its online shopping option aims to improve every aspect of the experience by which products are presented and purchased: easy access to the platform, customised preferences, advanced search and suggestion tools, and exclusive services and benefits.

Sysdata planned the customer journey, designing every tiny detail of the user experience and interface design. We also took care of the technological development of the front and back end, creating a native app for smartphones (both iOS and Android). The former is based on MVC architecture for Swift, the latter on clean architecture for Kotlin, and both were created with design patterns that guarantee robust performance, flexibility and ease of maintenance.

EasyCoop makes it possible to view a catalogue of approximately 13,000 products – 3,000 of which are fresh and at least 1,000 of which are promoted each day – exploiting the potential of the Algolia search engine. After choosing the address, day and time of delivery, users can decide if they want to pay online or on delivery. A message lets them know the name of the employee who will deliver their items, including his or her picture. Convenient and secure.   The shopping list lets users jot down the items they’re interested in via a text input or an in-app voice command that's even integrated with Google Home Assistant. With the quick shop option, users can purchase products on their shopping list or re-order them from a past purchase. The service is currently available in Rome and in the Veneto and Emilia-Romagna regions.   EasyCoop is available on both iOS and Android. The app was immediately successful on iOS and Android stores from the day it was launched. As proof of the high degree of reliability of its technological structure, the application thus far has been entirely crash free, considered 99.9% stable. Future updates for the management of new marketing initiatives and the integration of new features are expected.
