Oracle Eloqua Platform Integration and Campaign Support

CLIENT BACKGROUND

Mediaset Premium, the commercial television platform of the Mediaset group, is the digital terrestrial pay TV service which rounds out Mediaset’s free-to-air service.

Project steps:

Activities are planned on following 3 main streams:

  1. Oracle Eloqua Platform integration and set up considering Mediaset Premium internal systems;
  2. Campaign Startup with the aim to validate implementation activities related to phase 1;
  3. Campaign Execution through a full support during all implementation steps related to a Marketing Automation Campaign with Oracle Eloqua and a customized implementation on touch points of Mediaset Premium as SMS, Chat, Call me now, Social Retargeting, etc.

BUSINESS CHALLENGE

Main goals:

Sysdata supported Mediaset Premium during a program thought with the aim to maximize business results thanks to the Modern Marketing platform Oracle Eloqua.

This program has been inserted into a wider strategic plan defined by Mediaset Group that adopt new tools to support the Group Business Units:

  • To define a clear profile on advertising target and offer additional information to advertisers on their audiences in order to increase effectiveness
  • To optimize the rights acquisition on cinema and TV assets and improve the quality on content production and editing also thanks to a full comprehension about user needs and preferences
  • To increase and maintain stable the audience through programs in line with user expectations
  • To implement a dynamic user profiling
  • To enhance campaign performance on:
    • Acquisition and upselling
    • Prevention, retention and reconnection
    • VAS usage (i.e. Premium Play)

TO DATA FLOWS

By identifying how and what data to bring to the Eloqua platform and developing the middleware. Sysdata saw to the customisation of the data model and the insertion of an end-to-end Modern Marketing solution into the Mediaset Premium Group back end. This also allowed for the integration of data flows and AppCloud components to send push messages and text messages (SMS). Sysdata also handled the analysis, management and support for the activities necessary for the proper functioning of Marketing Automation campaigns and the achievement of business objectives.

Business outcome

User base profiling, the optimisation of marketing costs and the activation of Lead Nurturing strategies all helped improve the performance of the client’s campaigns for Prevention, Retention and Reconnection.
