A leader in the small domestic appliance market, with sales in the kitchen, ironing and comfort segments, De’Longhi enjoys a worldwide presence and broad positioning with different user targets thanks to the Kenwood, De’Longhi and Braun brands.
In line with a cutting edge philosophy that has already led the group to invest in smartphone and tablet technologies that can carry value-added content at an international level, De’Longhi seeks a system to centrally control mobile initiatives for the Kitchen market of all brands and across all countries.
Given the complex structure and geographic fragmentation of the individual Italian markets concerned, Sysdata provided the level of flexibility required by the client. In doing so, the firms in each country can enjoy custom management of content and of some distinctive functions for certain products.
Sysdata offered a Mobile solution (on iOS and Android), integrated with a multi-brand, multi-product and multi-lingual enterprise-class CMS, in a dynamic that also guided vertical branding and the structuring of applications.
Along with the development and maintenance of mobile apps, a content management service was provided for all products and all content in the different translations required by the various brand managers.
The smartphone and tablet applications developed by De’Longhi, containing the recipe books for their respective small appliances, led to a new format for instructions and tips for use. Shifting traditionally paper and static content to an electronic format, De’Longhi ensured that the digital recipe book will always be up-to-date and within easy reach.
