Cattolica Assicurazioni is the leading company of one of the main corporate groups on the Italian insurance market and is active in both non-life and life insurance, boasting an insurance premium volume of approximately 5.7 billion euros.
Based on the need to stabilise broker registries, Cattolica required a system to rationalise the then dispersed, asynchronous organisation. In this case, the added value comes from the creation of a categorical view of the sales network structure, which includes aspects relating to points of sale, network organisation and contract management, and the global coordination of various offices. Essentially, the overall improvement of the company’s processes.
Based on Cattolica’s need for data rationalisation, Sysdata developed a software capable of acting as a driver for network events, coordinating different systems and communicating with various kinds of plug-ins. Every component communicates with the same Application System.
With extensive practical experience in the insurance market acquired over time through relations with major groups in the sector, Sysdata was more than willing to accept Cattolica’s challenge as a reputable consultancy firm capable of acting as the link between management components and IT. In developing software, alongside Waterfall assessment activities and conducting functional analyses, one based on the Agile procedure was carried out which allowed for innovative solutions to be introduced, that were interesting from a market standpoint.
Working on data unification, on a unique vision for the structure of sales networks and on comprehensive office coordination goals, the expert task force available to the customer achieved a tangible improvement in the company processes of Cattolica, who will take charge of the project with Sysdata by their side, as support, for upgrade maintenance and assistance.
